The Human Resource Development Centre
Beginnings
Human resource development has been a vigorous activity ever since the inception of the Delhi Public Schools nearly six decades ago. With every school, began the task of human resource development-- to improve human potential with development in every sphere. It became even more necessary as the DPS connected with the teaching-learning of young minds and human development.
Teachers who entered the DPS portal developed a school culture whereby new ideas and thought flourished. New classroom practices were experimented with and as the journey continued, the DPS evolved into a dynamic work organization.
Milestones
The journey continues…and to strengthen the human resource development movement, the DPS Society’s Human Resource Development Centre was established in the year 2006. Since then, thousands of teachers have visited the center for innumerable training programmes, relevant in today’s complex environments which require professionals with special skills, knowledge and focus. Present day educators have to fulfill a role beyond the traditional and assume roles in ever growing new domains!
The DPS Society’s HRD Centre continues this journey of teacher enablement, enrichment and empowerment.
